Lovely Litton

Candlelight Cottage is set on the side of Litton’s beautiful village green. The village has a village shop and The Red Lion pub. Each summer the village holds Well Dressings and a Fete.

Litton can certainly be described as one of the most attractive villages in the Peak District with many late 17th and early 18th century houses, full of charm and character set around a large village green where you can find an ancient cross, old wooden stocks and a quaint village pub.

Litton lies one mile east of Tideswell, five miles from Bakewell, eight miles from Buxton, 10 miles from Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, and less than 20 miles from Sheffield.
